Meet: Julie Wald
Meet Julie, our founder, Chief Wellness Advisor, Mom of 3, Wife, Yoga and Meditation Teacher, Reiki Master and Wellness Coach Extraordinaire.
Julie began her career as a Clinical Social Worker 25 years ago and practiced as a therapist treating adults, children and adolescents in mental health and hospital settings. In tandem to her mental health experience, Julie has been immersed in the world of wellness since the early 90’s. Combining her clinical background and decades of experience as a yoga teacher, meditation teacher, reiki master and mother of three, Julie advises and implements extraordinary self-care for Namaste’s clients - individuals, families and institutions.
Julie has worked with high-performing executives, celebrities, athletes, children and those coping with chronic or life-threatening illness. Julie and Namaste help these people navigate and optimize their day-to-day lives, manage stress and pain, and cultivate lifelong well-being.
Close to her heart and an integral aspect of Namaste’s purpose is a commitment to service. Julie has worked with her Co-Founder and husband, Michael, to deliver complimentary yoga, massage, and other wellness services to a wide variety of underserved and disenfranchised New Yorkers in schools, hospitals and the city parks.
